COLOR THEORY
Color theory can be described as how specific colors work together to affect our emotions and perceptions- this directly impacts the composition of the images produced in my photography. Composition of a photo consists of many different aspects; to make something visually appealing, a balanced and cohesive look is ideal. We're not just talking about primary and secondary colors though, let me explain...

Neon colors, punchy colors, and excessively patterned clothing can be distracting and negatively impact the visual effect that an image has on the eyes. Neutral colored clothing is highly recommended. Matching isn't necessary, however coordinating and picking clothing items that are complimentary to each other and the scenery of where the photography session takes place can make the final image look cohesive and appealing.

Depending on the session (i.e. Gender Reveals & Fall Scenery Sessions) colors such as muted blues, dusty pinks, burnt oranges, and brick reds may compliment the landscape and convey a message resulting in a beautiful set of images.
