GENERAL FAQ
Do you require a retainer to book a session?
............................................. For weddings or elopements I require a non-refundable retainer that goes towards your final total as well as a signed contract. For all other sessions, a retainer is required to hold your date and the final payment is due 24 hours before your session takes place! Please see package details or contact me if you have any additional questions.
Can I have the unedited or RAW files of my photos?
............................................. I do not deliver the RAW files and additional editing/adding filters is not permitted once I deliver the final gallery. The editing process is pivotal- it takes a lot of time and creativity, which I take pride in! It also gives future clients an idea of my editing style and if my photography is the right fit for them.
Are you LGBTQAI+ friendly?
............................................. Absolutely! I believe that love is love and inclusivity matters. I will not turn away clients due to love preference, color, size, background, or beliefs. Diversity is beautiful and should be celebrated!
Do you offer prints and albums?
............................................. I use Pic-Time to deliver your gallery where you'll have the ability to download and order prints. You can also download your images and have them printed at the location of your choice, but please keep in mind that printing results may vary by location.
What is your availability currently?
............................................. I post 3 months' worth of availability on my Facebook and Instagram social media platforms. If the date you want to book is greyed out, please don't hesitate to contact me directly to inquire about potential time slots or alternative solutions. I'm more than happy to be flexible if scheduling allows for it.
Do you travel?
............................................. I travel up to a 1-hour radius outside the Metro-Detroit area for all sessions besides Weddings or Elopements. I currently do not travel out of the state of Michigan for weddings or elopements but will travel within a 3-hour radius of the Metro-Detroit Area.
How many photos should I expect to recieve?
............................................. The amount of images delivered varies upon each session and the package that you desire! Please see specific package details for more information or contact me directly.
What if I have to cancel or reschedule?
............................................. I am very understanding of the need to cancel or reschedule. Different packages have different cancellation policies that are stated in each contract. Please contact me for any questions regarding this!
What should I wear to my session?
............................................. Whatever you feel the most comfortable in! I highly suggest neutral colors since it gives a more cohesive look with my editing style. If you're still not sure on what to wear, visit my STYLE YOUR SESSION page or email me directly to chat!
Do you offer mini sessions?
............................................. Seasonal mini sessions will be announced via my Facebook and Instagram pages. If you want to inquire directly about them, please contact me via email, Facebook messenger, or Instagram DM's.
Do you offer studio and branding sessions?
............................................. YES! I am a UGC creator and have my portfolio linked as an option in my LinkTree in the bio of my Facebook and Instagram Photography pages. I have an extensive background in digital marketing and would love to help bring your brand to life! Please fill out the form on the CONTACT page and select 'Other' and explain that you'd like to do a branding or studio session.
Do you offer payment plans?
............................................. Yes I do! We can customize a payment plan to best suit you and your budget. Please contact me directly for more details.
What if the weather is unfavorable for our session?
............................................. Rain or shine I can adapt to either! I monitor the weather forecast for the days leading up to the session. However, if the weather isn't ideal we can explore other options such as an indoor session, rescheduling OR if you're comfortable, we can shoot in the rain/snow!
Can I edit the photos after I receive them?
............................................. Editing or adding filters after I deliver the final gallery is strongly discouraged since that falsely represents my unique style of work. Please be respectful of the editing process and the amount of work that goes into each individual image to reflect my creative style. I am happy to provide one free editing revision to ensure client satisfaction with the final result.
What is a session like with you behind the camera?
............................................. My job is to make you feel as comfortable and as confident as possible! I creatively direct your movements and interactions with natural prompts instead of having you hold a pose. This method allows me to capture candid, genuine moments that make for beautiful images. Just be yourself and I'll do the rest!
